An internationally recognised vintage motoring spectacular, bringing high-octane drag racing to Bridlington’s South Bay.
A tribute to the days when Yorkshire’s beaches were the setting from some of the early land speed record attempts, Race the Waves is a truly unique spectacle. The hugely popular event, which first took place in 2018, sees an array of vintage vehicles racing in pairs down a 200-yard course on the South Bay beach.
